Climbing in ao nang reddit. Specifically, I'm curious about the difficulty of finding the wall and whether it's possible to get an Uber from Ao Nang to the wall. It's about a 30-ish minute drive to the core of Ao Nang. Food in Railay was quite expensive and not necessarily higher in quality. I'm considering a stop there on my trip with my partner later this year. Another reason to stay at Ao Nang is because the food options are much better. Spend a day on Railay. The excursion were busy for phi phi island, but it is sad walking Ao Nang and seeing each restaurant slow or empty. Ao Nang isn't an island, but yeah it's pretty amazing compared to other places - even though it's everywhere nice in Thailand. I was in Tonsai for a week and came back just in time to sit in my house for 2 months. I'm unsure if it's normally like this, but the weather is good. Beautiful beach, went kayaking, rock climbing, and hang around by the pool, monkey-seeing, but not much more to do. I stayed at Anyavee Ao Nang Bay Resort in Ao Nang, and I recommend it. There's also a ferry that goes from Phuket to Ao Nang once a day. We're most interested in outdoor rock climbing (with a guide), scuba & snorkel, hiking (would love to plan an excursion to Khao Sok National Park), and caving. Do the monkey trail, you end up at a resort where you can hang out and drink cocktails and watch an idyllic sunset right next to the mountain that stretches out into the sea, the one you can see at Ao Nang beach. I prefer a private ride but you can split the boat with other travelers at the end of Ao nang beach. Landmark is a nice night market. My only concern is the relentless sounds of motorboats going to and from Railay that I've witnessed on YouTube videos. Meanwhile, an old acquaintance has been posting Tonsai climbing pictures the last two weeks. So if relaxing is what you're after in the area, Railay is the place to be. You can’t catch a longtail ride there. . i wish i had stayed and was locked down there -_- If you get bit by a dog, by the way, Dr. 5 hours and had some really nice scenery to boot. Is it as bad as it seems? I would do what someone else here recommended and that is to hire a long tail boat to take you back to Ao Nang late in the evening so that you can experience the more calmer side of Railay.
